Visual Diary Task 2 : Tonal Values

Tonal range
Lightest to darkest

Hatching
- hatching is done either horizontal or vertical in ONLY one direction

Cross Hatching
- is the combination of hatching  of both vertical and  horizontal lines

Scribbling
- an art of just scribbling down in any direction

Stippling
- is a dotting technique

How these techniques are applied

Reflection:
I particularly enjoyed doing this task. I find stippling technique to the the hardest, mainly because it takes a longer amount of time to cover an area. I mostly prefere cross hatching as it the fastest and in my opinion the nicest as it gives out that raw outlook. Not only that, tonal values are also important in a drawing to help show depth.
